Crew,
I currently conduct language processing research at the Learning Research and Development Center on O'Hara Street. We are in desperate need of subjects for our study, which focuses on the individual differences between native speakers of English in how they process words.
The first part of the study involves a 1.5-2 hour behavioral session that is paid at 10 dollars per hour. The section portion of the study takes place at an fMRI facility in the South Side. The actual scanning time is less than an hour, but you get paid for the time in transit as well. The payment is $35 if you need transportation there and $45 if you can get there on your own.
If you are interested in participating, you will need to complete about 2 minutes worth of preliminary testing to determine if you qualify for the experiment. Other than that, you must be a right-handed native speaker of English who did not acquire a second language before the age of 10. Feel free to contact either one of us about the general nature of the project/ participating in this experiment at the following addresses:

-------------------- It's really kind of painless, and it's quick money. You'll be helping out a lot if you decide to participate, and you'll get to see how your brain looks. That's kind of cool.
Thanks, troll

Elise,
When will this be taking place? I'm kinda interested, but will probably not do it with the way my schedule is keeping me busy.

i have a 2 minute thing that i have to have you complete, and then i'd have to check to see if you qualify. i'm pretty much in my office on O Hara street during regular business hours. I am pretty flexible with stuff if you are still interested, though.
