Just to keep this open as an alternative line of communication, please feel free to post questions, concerns, or any thoughts you may have about the summer audition camps coming up. For instance, if you need a place to stay, curious about what to expect, wondering how you're going to get out to Pitt, or just looking for a place to get a large pizza under $5, there are plenty of us who'd be able to help!! Thanks and I'll see you soon!!

How is everyone? My name is Nick and I'm going to be auditioning in the summer. I was wondering if it would put me behind or hurt in any way if I wasn't able to make the July dates. I might be away, and I didn't know if it would hurt my chance of being in the Drumline. I really want to because I did it all throughout high school and it's great. Thanks

Hey Nick! Glad to see that you're interested. As far as the summer camps go, we discourage missing any of the camps over the summer, especially for new members. That said, we can be flexible if it's absolutely necessary you miss a camp. Either way, don't let it discourage you from trying out. Look forward to meeting you!

Glad to see the message boards are crawling out of their grave!
Paul already alluded to housing, but if you're of the non-male persuasion and coming to try out in June, there's a place for you to crash as well. I'm a recent drumline alum so I can't guarantee that I'll be at all the camps themselves, but if any girls need a place to stay for any or all camp nights, shoot me a message or Paul who can funnel them to me, just to get an idea of how hoppin' the Hoecave is gonna be this summer. Good luck to everyone that comes out!

Hey, my name is AJ and I was wondering for tryout camp if there was a way for me to find a place to crash because it would be difficult for me to travel. If this is possible I wouldn't mind where I was put as long as I had a place to stay, and I look forward to seeing you all there!

What's up AJ, my name is Doug. A bunch of the Drumline have a house on campus that you can stay at, we've got plenty of couch space and bean bags.

Dear Courtney,
Cut the shot, our house is the closest thing to the Ritz you can get in Pittsburgh. Haters gon' hate.

dear megan, i know what goes down in the hoe cave.... it's therefor understandable that someone might not want to sleep there... plus, its really fun to walk through the ghetto at 8:00 in the morning to get to trees.... see you this weekend. -Jibba Jabba
